Naila is a South Asian hair and makeup artist new to Toronto! She is very proud to serve the LGBTQIP2SA+ community. Naila appreciates each client’s personal style, so you can trust her to help you express who you truly are!

Naila has represented prestige cosmetics brands including MAC, Laura Mercier, Phyto Paris, and Hourglass Cosmetics. Her makeup kit is inspired by her love of art and 7 years of experience in the cosmetics industry.

Naila currently offers classic glamour makeup applications as well as artistic looks, face painting and hair styling. She also teaches makeup lessons for beginner makeup artists or for those who want to learn how to enhance their own face!

I am a biracial Indo-Caribbean drag artist committed to queer Caribbean and QPoC activism, and projects of LGBTQI+ community building and solidarity work. In addition, as a PhD student at the University of Toronto, I have experience cultivating and co-organizing community panels/conversations, seminars, conferences and showcases/parties surrounding social justice, drag culture, Queer Toronto and Queer Caribbeans in Canada. I am interested in collaborating on future projects that center the experiences and narratives BIPoC identities and communities to engage in practices of critical and much-needed solidarity work.
